Come Back, Little Sheba (1977) (TV) - As Marie
Plot Summary
- Doc Delany (Laurence Olivier) feels trapped by his marriage to the whining, slovenly Lola (Joanne Woodward). Doc can't appreciate the fact that, despite her inadequacies, Lola sincerely loves him; his emotional blindness stirs up a lot of trouble when a beautiful young woman rents a room in the Delany home.

Plot Summary
- In this update of the "Prince and the Pauper", Ringo Starr is the most famous rock drummer in the world, but has become bored with his life as an iconic pop star, while Ognir Rats is a shy, bullied nobody with a lousy job and an abusive father. When Ringo sees Ognir and notices they share a strong resemblance to each other, they decide to switch places. Once, Ringo gets a taste of Ognir's troubled life and Ognir is caught up in Ringo's busy schedule, can things be straighten out before Ringo's big concert, later that night?

Plot Summary
- Paul was injured while playing polo. He then learns that he is paralyzed from the waist down. Feeling despondent, he decides to go to his grandfather's ranch. He meets Marnie a horse trainer. For some reason she decides that she wants to get him to get his head out of the sand that he placed it in since the accident. She finds herself falling for him and he for her, too. But he tries to resist cause he doesn't know what kind of future, he could give her, cause he fears that he could be impotent.

The Blues Brothers (1980) - As the Mystery Woman
Plot Summary
- Saturday Night Live characters, John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd star as Jake and Elwood Blues, two white boys with black soul. Sporting cool shades and look-alike suits, they are on a "mission from God" to raise $5000 to save their old church from demolition. They run afoul of neo-Nazis, perform the theme from Rawhide before the most unruly bar crowd in history, and lay waste to hundreds of cars on the streets and freeways of Chicago.
- The mystery woman was actually left at the alter by Jake Blues. She shows up several times trying to kill him, but of course never succeeds.

Under the Rainbow (1981) - As Annie Clark
Plot Summary
- In World War II era Los Angeles, the manager of the Culver Hotel leaves his nephew in charge for a weekend. The nephew changes the name to the Hotel Rainbow and overbooks with royalty, assassins, secret agents, Japanese tourists, and munchkins (from the cast of The Wizard of Oz (1939)). Secret Service agent Bruce Thorpe and casting director Annie Clark find romance amidst the intrigue and confusion.

Plot Summary
- At a time when most other shows for children were either low-budget productions or product-inspired cartoons that were little more than half-hour commercials, this program set out to produce high-quality classic entertainment that children would enjoy. Hosted by Shelley Duval, this program featured some of the best-known stars in Hollywood performing adaptations of traditional stories.
- This particular one is a production of the classic Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale about Thumbelina, a thumb-sized girl who has to find her way back home after being kidnapped by a toad and a mole.

Garbo Talks (1984) - As Lisa Rolfe
Plot Summary
- Estelle (Anne Bancroft) is a one-person protest army: she goes to jail over grocery prices, shames construction workers for catcalls to passing women, and won't cross a picket line for her son's wedding. She also loves Garbo films: when she learns she has a brain tumor and six months to live, she decides she must meet Garbo. Her dutiful son Gilbert, a Manhattan accountant named for Garbo's co-star, hires a paparazzo to show him Garbo's flat, stakes it out, gets a job delivering food there, seeks her on Fire Island, and tracks her to a Sixth Avenue flea market. As his obsession distances him from his wife, he's drawn to a struggling actress he meets at work. Can he find Garbo; if so, will she talk?

 

From Here to Maternity (1985) (TV) - As Veronica
Plot Summary
- The short film is about three women: Veronica, Caroline, and Judy. Veronica, a business woman, and Caroline, a music teacher, are single, and Judy is married to a number-crunching husband. One day, when all three of their biological clocks begin to let them know time is running out to have children, they all meet in a mission where the preacher (Margie Evans) convinces them to each have a child. Each one must then figure out how they are to get pregnant, and then, when they do, go through the birthing process. The movie is set in `chapters' detailing how they do each step. .

 

The Man with One Red Shoe (1985) - As Paula
Plot Summary
- CIA chief Ross (Charles Durning) has his job on the line and gunning for Ross’ job is Cooper (Dabney Coleman). Somebody is randomly picked picked to to be a fake CIA agent. Cooper’s gang wastes two days tracking the decoy, Richard Drew (Tom Hanks), a violinist for the Washington Symphony who has plenty of problems of his own.
- Paula is Morris' (Jim Belushi) wife. Morris is Richard Drew's best friend. Paula is cheating on Morris with Richard. She gets caught by Morris, but when he goes nuts, she stays with him.

Plot Summary
- This is a romantic comedy which tells the intertwined stories of an extended family, told mostly during a year that begins and ends with a family Thanksgiving dinner. The movie was written and directed by Woody Allen and stars Mia Farrow as Hannah, with Barbara Hershey and Dianne Wiest as her sisters.

Plot Summary
- A mother goes to Hollywood to find her runaway daughter. She discovers that the girl has become involved in the pornography industry, and goes to the police to get help in finding her.

 

Liberty (1986) (TV) - As Emma Lazarus
Plot Summary
- This three hour film examines the lives of the two men responsible for the concept and production of the Statue of Liberty - French sculptor Frederic Auguste Berthold (Frank Langella) and American coppersmith Jack Marchand (Chris Sarandon). Told as a dual story, the tale unfolds back and forth between each country. In France, Berthold gets a young model (Corrine Touzet) to pose nude for him to develop his sculpture. When he falls for her, his doting mother (Claire Bloom) opposes the relationship. Meanwhile in America, the Jewish Marchand faces bigotry but is taken by into a business by a good-willed Irishman (George Kennedy). There he weds the businessman's illiterate niece (Dana Delany) when she becomes pregnant, but carries on a platonic affair with a poetess (Carrie Fisher). Eventually Marchand & his employer, along with a slave (LeVar Burton) take on the construction of the actual monument.

 

Sunday Drive (1986) (TV) - As Franny Jessup
Plot Summary
- Two identical cars pull up to a restaurant, one belonging to a childless couple who are taking care of their niece and nephew while their parents are away, who are out on a Sunday drive. The other belonging to a guy who is on his way to meet his fiance and to begin working for her father. In his car is his dog, whom the couple mistake for the children, when they get into his car and drive. While he goes into their car and the children are under a blanket and he mistakenly assumes it's his dog. When they discover the mistake they are both so far away from each other that they don't know what to do.

Plot Summary
- Television series created, produced, and twice directed by Steven Spielberg. Truly amazing, and sometimes odd stories are narrated. Many famous actors and actresses made guest appearances.
- In "Gershwin's Trunk", frantic to deliver a hit musical, conniving Broadway composer Jo-Jo Gillespie contacts the spirit of George Gershwin through psychic Sister Teresa, and makes marvelous music from beyond the grave.

Amazon Women on the Moon (1987) - As Mary Brown
Plot Summary
- A collection of comedic skits assembled roughly as a sort of late night TV surf, as a ‘50s sci-fi spoof.
- In the Reckless Youth segment, we are treated to black and white footage of an old style documentary. It spoofs the don't do drugs and don't get pregnant films of the 40's where the youth was headed down the wrong path.
- Mary Brown is a youth that has been promiscuous and she goes to visit her doctor, who promptly begins to tell her how bad she's been and how going down the wrong road will send her down the path to hell. or something like that.

Appointment with Death (1988) - As Nadine Boynton
Plot Summary
- When Emily Boynton is found dead at an archaeological dig near the Dead Sea, there are a great many suspects. Boynton is a harridan, a former prison wardress who dominates the lives of her three adult stepchildren and her daughter. She is loud and rude, much to the dislike of Lady Westholme, a transplanted American Anglophile and member of the British government and Miss Quinton, the archaeologist in charge of the dig. Also present is Jefferson Cope, the family attorney whom she blackmailed into destroying her late husband's most recent will, thereby ensuring she would inherit everything. By the time of her death, Hercule Poirot has been traveling with this group for several days and already knows a good deal about them. He is more than happy to accept a request from his friend, Colonel Carbury, to assist the authorities in their investigation.

 

She's Back (1989) - As Beatrice
Plot Summary
- Paul is a meek electrician who, with his nagging, dominating wife Beatrice, moves to a new house in a neighborhood stricken by a series of robberies. That night, the gang responsible breaks into their house, beats up Paul, murders Bea, and makes off with the valuables. As Paul is coming to terms with his wife's death, she appears as a ghost only he can see and hear, nagging him into hitting the streets (later with his garbageman neighbor) and avenging her, with some interesting methods of doing so.

 

The `Burbs (1989) - As Carol Peterson
Plot Summary
- Tom Hanks and Carrie Fisher are a couple so clean that they squeak. When the new neighbors begin showing bizarre behavior, Hanks and his fellow suburbanites endure all sorts of slapstick misadventures in the vain hope of getting "the goods" on the newcomers.
- Carol Peterson thinks that her husband is getting all worked up over nothing.

Plot Summary
- Randy Bodek works as a pizza delivery boy at Senor Pizza to make a few extra bucks. When the order is for a pizza with extra anchovies, it means the female customers are looking for some loving. "Loverboy's" reputation soon makes him very popular, but when Mom Bodek suddenly feels like some extra anchovies, things are looking grim for young Randy.

Plot Summary
- When Harry Burns (Billy Crystal) and Sally Albright (Meg Ryan) first meet, it's 1977. Both are leaving the University of Chicago for New York City and they share the drive. Along the way, they discover that they have little in common. They part in Manhattan, and it's five years before they bump into each other again. They separate again and their next meeting occurs in the late 1980's. When they push their relationship over the line, things don't go awry.
- Marie is Sally's best friend, and she tries to get Sally to start anew with another man.

Plot Summary
- Marjorie Turner (Kirstie Alley) is suffocating. One day, she snaps while food shopping, and beds a mysterious man, who dies during the moment of passion. When she forgets her wallet, a vertical-blinds salesman finds it, and things get complicated from there.

Plot Summary
- Elizabeth (Phoebe Cates) as a young woman, has to deal with a problematic imaginary childhood friend. Her friend Drop Dead Fred, re-appears to her years later when she is older and creates havoc with her career, her husband, and her mother. In the end though, this forces her to become more self reliant by leaving her husband and telling her mother off. She outgrows her imaginary buddy and starts her life anew.
- Janie is Elizabeth's best friend in her adulthood and tries to help her deal with Drop Dead Fred.

Plot Summary
- Single mom Dottie Ingels sells cosmetics in a department store, but she dreams of being a comedian. When she inherits some money, she takes the chance and moves with her two children Erica and Opel to New York to perform in small bars. Soon her agent Arnold Moss makes her famous, but while she travels all over USA, her children stay home lonely.
